MANDATORY: You are fluent in English (because you will have to prospect and sell food products to purchasing directors  or business owners).

Job description:

We have just established our TRADING department specializing in the import-export of food products around the world. 

Your mission will consist in prospecting (wholesalers, distributors, stores, central purchasing, food supermarkets, etc.) in either the French or the English markets. And you will also need to maintain your active client portfolio in a key account manager role.

You will follow an intensive training of two to three weeks to review sales techniques, understand how foodomarket works, and master all of our computer tools.

Mission

Your typical day: 

80% PROSPECTING OF NEW CUSTOMERS (SALES)

  • Organize your portfolio of prospects.
  • Identify and then contact the decision-makers (purchasing manager or company manager).
  • Present and sell the FOODOMARKET offer by telephone (convince and persuade).
  • Manage your reminders to close your customers.
  • Ensure the smooth running of deliveries.

20% MONITORING OF YOUR ACTIVE CUSTOMERS (ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT)

  • Make additional sales on other additional products. 
  • Recommend your active clients. 
  • Manage the after-sales service if necessary on your customers.  

Compétences

Your technical skills:

  • You master the sales techniques (soft skills, hard skills).
  • You have a strong commercial temperament.
  • A good ability to negotiate in complex situations.
  • You are Absolutely fluent in English. Because you will prospect on English markets (Great Britain, United States…).
  • You are not afraid of the phone and you are able to open closed doors.
  • You are comfortable with various computer software.
  • Knowledge of the agri-food or hotel/restaurant sector is a plus.
